Did you know?
The plants that we use in office and our homes are tropical and come from Florida, California, and sometimes Hawaii
During the fall & winter months the days are shorter which often results in your plants using less water. So be sure they use the water you give them especially during these times because this is the most common time of death for house plants from over watering.
Different types of plants have different lighting needs, if you put a plant in the wrong light it will not use the water you give it effectively and it will not thrive, it may even die.
Plants can be grown under florescent and other types of artificial light, they need at least 8 hours per day.
If you take a cutting of a plant & put it in water it will root & you never have to plant it in dirt. If you want to plant it in a pot with dirt add a hand full of dirt at a time to the water weekly or daily and the roots will adjust to being transplanted easier.
